When I created this wehsite my intention was to travel to many other places and include diaries of these travels. Unfortunately, I have had other things come up and have not been able to add to this site for some time.

But if you are interested in reading some of the best travel writing ever written, then I recommend you check out the website of journalist Kira Salak. She has been to some of the most remote places in the world and has written for National Geographic, and all of her articles are up on her website. The photos on the website are also amazing! She has also written two non-fiction travel books that are excellent, Four Corners (where she is the first women to cross Papua New Guinea) and Cruelest Journey (where she kyaks 600 miles up the Niger river in Mali). She has also just released her first fiction book, The White Mary, a novel that depicts both an incredible spiritual and physical journey for the main character, an excellent book.

St Petersburg Russia

My third trip to St Petersburg Russia is documented in six chapters. My third trip brought a deep admiration of the Russian people, their potential and what they and their country already is and one day will be.  Again, in my second writing I describe life in the city, life in Russia and talk about my many adventures in this magnficent city, always with a bit of humor and fun.

My first trip was to St Petersburg Russia and is documented in great detail in eight chapters. I went in one of the worst Russian winters to Saint Petersburg to spend three weeks studying Russian and one week touring the city.  In my writing I describe life in the city, life in Russia and talk about my many adventures in this magnficent city.
